  • Acuworx is a top-rated acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) studio located in Jersey City, NJ. With 6 licensed practitioners and over 50 years of cumulative clinical experience, we take a modern, integrative approach to the ancient wisdom of acupuncture — creating highly individualized treatment plans to restore balance and support lasting wellness.

  • We're located at 190 Columbus Drive, Suite 3A, Jersey City, NJ 07302. We serve patients from across Hudson County, including Hoboken, Weehawken, Bayonne, and surrounding communities.

  • Our team includes licensed acupuncturists, all of whom hold New Jersey state licensure, have completed a Master's degree in Acupuncture or Traditional Oriental Medicine, and are board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). They undergo regular continuing education to maintain their certifications.

  • Your initial visit begins with a detailed health history review and physical exam, which includes an examination of your tongue and pulse — both key diagnostic tools in TCM. Your first session includes an acupuncture treatment, and you'll leave with a personalized care plan designed by your practitioner.

    How long will my first appointment take?

    Please allow at least 75 minutes for your initial visit. Follow-up appointments are typically 50 minutes.

    How should I prepare for my appointment?

    • Wear loose, comfortable clothing so your practitioner can access areas past the elbows and knees.

    • Eat a light meal or snack beforehand.

    • Avoid caffeine and alcohol for 1–2 hours before your treatment.

    • Complete your intake form prior to your first visit.

  • Every healing journey is unique. Most patients experience symptom relief after one or two treatments. Achieving lasting, stable results at the root cause typically takes several visits. Many patients also incorporate regular acupuncture into their long-term wellness and preventive care routine.
